First Day
of School |
MAKING THE FIRST DAY EASIER:
Remind your child that he/she is not the only student who
is a bit uneasy about the first day of school. Teachers
know that students are anxious and will make an extra
effort to make sure everyone feels as comfortable as
possible. |

Just before
school Starts |
The weekend before school starts: Don't make any

About 2 weeks before school starts: Begin going to bed
and getting up on a school scedule. This will help your

Invisible Ink for the
Kids |
Use a Q-tip as a pen; dip it in Realemon and write on a plain
piece of white paper. Let it dry and hold the paper near a hot
lightbulb. The writing turns brown and the kids think they are
writing with invisible ink |

Banana Popcicles |
Here's a fun treat for kids that is also good for them!
Peel a banana and cut it in half. Place a wooden popsicle
stick (you can get these at any craft store) into the
banana lengthwise. Coat the banana in peanut butter. Use
your imagination and roll the coated banana in anything from
crushed graham crackers and cookies, to candy sprinkles |
