Blot up as much as you can, don't rub. Loosen the tar with a
liquid lighter fluid or apply a solution of equal parts warm
water and glycerin. Leave on one hour then spot clean with

Removing Wax from
Carpet |
If you have accidentally spilled wax on your carpet, don't
try to wipe it up while it's still soft. Let it harden, then
scrape with a plastic knife to remove as much of the wax as
you can. Lay a few sheets of paper towel over the area and
place a hot iron over the paper towels. This will absorb the
rest of the wax. Change the paper towels as needed depending
on how much wax you spilled |
