Day 3: Have your child write the largest and the smallest numbers with these digits; 71029 (97210) (01279).


Day 4: Have your child identify these amounts;

Day 5: Have your child solve these problems;

Day 11: Have your child solve a two step problem; Steven and Shirley are in charge of ordering pizzas for their class party. There are 22 students in their class. A large pizza serves about 6 people and costs $11.45. A extra-large pizza serves about 8 people and costs $13.75. Each extra ingredient costs $.50 on a large pizza and $.75 on an extra large pizza. How much would it cost to serve the class if Shirley ordered large pizzas and only six people wanted extra toppings?

Make up another two step problem using this data.



Day 12: Normally Shanika's body temperature is 98.60 F. This morning she woke up with a fever of 102.40F. By noon her temperature had gone down 1.7 degrees. How many degrees above normal was her temperature at noon?

    Day 8: Have your child read the information from his favorite cereal box. Is it healthy? Why or why not?


    Day 9: Have your child use 4 adjectives to describe her new clothes.


    Day 10: Have your child read a story to a younger sibling.



    Day 11: Have your child write a letter to someone at camp or away and ask for a return letter.
