Warm & Tote™
General Use
Instructions:
See care instruction below. Print for
future use. |
|
To keep contents hot:
- For all Warm & Tote™ models except HuskyTote™ and Quick2Warm™(Bottle Warmer):
- You will receive 1 re-useable thermal TurboPack and safety sleeve(powerpouch) with each Lunch
& Go ordered. Instructions for microwaving the
TurboPacks are
included with shipment. Note: TurboPack is the heat pack.
- Place the thermal power pack in the powerpouch and microwave it
for no more than 2.5 minutes. (Start at 2 minutes).
If you find that the heat is not strong enough, (after it cools off) the next time you use
it, adjust up an additional 15 seconds up to
2.5 minutes maximum.
- Remove the TurboPack from the powerpouch
sleeve after microwaving and
place it into the Lunch & Go (bare without the sleeve for best
heat transfer).
- Insert
heated food item into a Lock & Lock® (strongly recommended-2.5
cup size). Lock & Lock® containers have a patented gasket seal to
prevent any leakage. Or you may use a ZipLoc®(small square) or similar container, plastic
baggie, or wrap “heated” food item with foil, depending upon your choice
of food for the day.
- That's it! Enjoy the convenience of having it
ready when you
want it!
- Heat lasts 5 hours.
(TurboPack is rechargeable over and over.)
- For HuskyTote™ and Quick2Warm™(Bottle Warmer):
These models are designed with a large heat pack. Maximum
heating time for these models is 5 minutes. If
you find that the heat is not strong enough, (after it cools off) the
next time you use it, adjust up an additional 30 seconds up to 5
minutes maximum.
Warnings:
Do not exceed the MAXIMUM microwave
heating times indicated above. If you overheat
the Microcore® pac, it could result in injury.
If the Microcore® pac expands (swells up), you
have heated it too long and you should not
remove from microwave until it has cooled down.
Use your powerpouchä
to handle the Microcore® pac when heating.
Do not place a frozen Microcore® pac
directly in the microwave. Let it thaw to room
temperature and then heat as directed (it can be
thawed by leaving it in warm water).
Do not cut or puncture the exterior plastic
film of the Microcore® pac and do not use if the
exterior film is punctured.
Warm & Tote is not responsible for Microcore®
pac damage if directions are not followed.

|
To keep contents cold:
- Place TurboPack in your refrigerator for 1 or more hours. - or - lay
it flat in the freezer overnight.
- Place the chilled or frozen TurboPack into the Lunch & Go
along with contents that you want chilled
- Place chilled food item into a Lock &
Lock® (strongly recommended-2.5 cup size) or ZipLoc®(small square) or
similar container or plastic baggie. Most plastic containers are fine as long as the
seal is secure. Lock & Lock® containers have a patented gasket
seal to prevent any leakage. They are the best and is why we strongly recommend them.
- That's it! Enjoy the convenience of having it
ready when you
want it!
- Cold lasts 8+ hours.
(TurboPack is rechargeable over and over.)

Cleaning the TurboPack:
Do not use any abrasive materials
on Microcore® turbo pack. Rinse off under
running water and mild detergent. Cleaning the
Warm & Tote Product: The Warm & Tote™
family of products can be cleaned several ways,
depending upon how soiled the tote is:
Sponge Clean:
Wipe outer shell briskly with
a damp sponge or cloth and allow to air dry.
Inner lining is waterproof nylon fabric and will
always wipe clean easily.
Machine Wash:
Place a rolled hand towel inside tote and zip
closed. Important: It must tightly fill-out
shape of the bag. Place in washing
machine on "gentle" in COLD WATER.
After wash cycle, replace the (now wet) towel inside
with a dry one. Place in the dryer. Do
not to over-dry.
Cleaning the W.T.HotShot™, HuskyTote™ and Buddie Back-pack tote Bag:
Sponge clean ONLY. DO NOT PLACE IN
DRYER. It has a vinyl liner and the aggressive and
constant agitation of the dryer, combined with the
dryer heat, may cause a melt or tear the inner lining. |
